Weihnachtsläufer
Für Weihnachten wollte ich noch einen Tischläufer haben und da ich wieder mal besonders früh dran bin war ich auf der Suche nach einem Projekt das nicht ganz so lange dauert und dennoch effektvoll aussieht. Im "hidden wells" Muster hab ich genau das richtige für mich gefunden.

Noch ein Leuchtturm
Mit ein bisschen Verspätung habe ich den Leuchtturm vom Monat November fertig bekommen.

Geschenke :)
Letzte Woche wurde ich schon wieder ein Jahr älter und muß euch noch ein paar schöne Geschenke zeigen die ich bekommen hab.

The pattern was intended for a pillow but rather I would have a table runner for my little cupboard.
Die Anleitung war eigentlich als Kissen gedacht aber ich wollte lieber einen Läufer für mein Schränkchen im Flur haben.

Zürich
Letzte Woche machte ich einen kurzen Ausflug nach Zürich und hab mir die Stadt angesehen.
Auf dem Weg dorthin kamen wir am Rheinfall, dem größten Wasserfall Europas vorbei.
Bis wir dort waren wurde es schon dunkel aber für einen kurzen Rundgang hat die Zeit noch gereicht.
Last Week I went for a short Trip to Zürich.
On the way we passed the "Rheinfall", the biggest waterfall in europe.
It was evening when we arrived but we had enough time for a short walk before getting dark.
Am nächsten Tag war Zürich dran. Die Stadt ist wunderschön direkt am See gelegen mit vielen Parks und einer schönen Altstadt.
Next day I visited Zürich. The city is located directly on the lake, with many parks and a beautiful old town.

was richtig süßes ;)
Schon lange wollte ich mal ausprobieren Baiser selbst zu machen.
Gestern hatte ich gerade 3 Eiweiß übrig, der Ofen war ohnehin heiß, da hab ich mich mal rangetraut.
Rezept ist ja ganz einfach... Eiweiß steif schlagen und dann nach und nach (schön langsam das die Masse nicht zusammenfällt) Zucker zugeben.
Ich hatte 150g Zucker auf 3 Eiweiß.
Die Masse so lange schlagen bis sie richtig kompakt und fest ist, dann in einen Spritzbeutel füllen und Tupfen aufs Backblech spritzen.
Das ganze dann bei kleiner Temperatur (ca. 60/70 Grad Umluft) im Ofen mehr trocknen als backen.
Je nach größe der Tupfen kann sich das auch 2 Stunden hinziehen bis der Baiser fest ist. Man kann zwischendurch immer mal mit dem Finger probieren.
Yesterday I try baking Baiser, a very sweet "cookie".
You only need the white part of eggs (I use three of them) and sugar (150 gram).
Then you whip up the clear part of eggs until it becomes stiff, then mix slowly with sugar. Whip along until it is really stiff.
Now you set little "cookies" on your sheet and bake it or better say desicate it in the oven by small temperature. (approximately 60 or 70 Grad Celsius)
They are ready when they are hard and crunchy. It will take a long time... approximately until 2 hours or longer depends on the oven and the size of the cookies. You can try with your fingers if it`s ready.
